Ezarc, Inc. is Hiring a Maintenance Technician (FT) Near Pleasant Grove, UT
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Adhere to safety, health, and environmental standards and policies by taking personal responsibility to prevent injury or illness from exposure to hazards.
- Maintain housekeeping by adhering to established site standards and by removing all maintenance-related parts and waste to ensure a safe and orderly job site.
- Respond to breakdowns and failures in the facility.
- Troubleshooting and correcting equipment.
- Use machinery including cut-off saws, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, welders, and other hand tools.
- Perform electrical, plumbing, electronics, air, and water tasks.
- Grease and lubricate bearings, gearboxes, and rollers in all sections of the shop.
- Perform regular checks on gearbox seals and help with preventive maintenance on shop equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, forklifts, and vehicles.
- Understand mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
- Use a multimeter when troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
- Perform general facility upkeep.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: HS Diploma or GED; Post High School education preferred.
- Experience: 1 - 3 years experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift.
- Ability to read and understand formulas and other instructions.
- Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pulling, and climbing of machinery and/or tooling.
- Work in high ambient temperatures.
